According to Walter Drenth, Marketing Director, Nigerian Breweries PLC, Nigeria’s leading premium Lager, Star, makes at least N120 billion every year which means at least 1.6M bottles are consumed every day at N200 a bottle. He revealed this during the official launch of the company’s limited edition series of Star, called Star Music Bottle. Drenth says the figures are ‘average’ and that most Star drinkers are between 18 to 45.
