The England international was forced to sit out his country’s final
two World Cup 2014 qualifiers as they booked their berth for next
summer’s finals and now Wenger expects to be without the speedy attacker
for the next three club games.
Wenger had hoped to have Walcott back for Arsenal’s Champions League
clash with Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, the Premier League fixture with
Crystal Palace on Saturday and the Capital One Cup showdown with
Chelsea on October 29.
But the Gunners boss said: ‘[Theo] had a setback on Thursday. He had to stop, to jog again.
